GCS Communication Gateway for Domino

GCS Communication Gateway for Domino adds to your Domino E-mail a FAX,SMS,and TELEX communication gateway. With GCS Communication Gateway for Domino you can send FAX, SMS, and TELEX messages as easily as sending an e-mail. You improve your information exchange within your company, and with your external partners.

Ease of use

The native integration into Domino allows use of FAX , SMS, and TELEX tools in an intuitive way.

Directories

GCS Communication Gateway for Domino uses Domino E-mail client public and private directories. So, you can keep all your FAX, SMS, and TELEX contacts in one directory.

Native Domain

GCS Communication Gateway uses Domino native domains. To send a FAX, SMS or TELEX with a command line, it is enough to add the domain name to the address. So, you use all of the Domino servers' routing functionalities.

Incoming automatic processing

GlobalComServer automatically processes FAX, SMS, TELEX incoming messages :

• Direct routing to a user.
• Direct routing to a group.
• Printing on a network printer.
• Automatic reception acknowledgment.

The FAX incoming routing uses your ISDN lines DID number to choose the correct destination.

Least cost routing management

By using servers in different locations, GlobalComServer gives you the benefit of least cost routing (sending at least cost). Messages will be automatically sent from the server nearest to the destination..

Attached documents FAX sending

GlobalComServer allows sending documents as attachments to a FAX -- in the original format. (Office, SmartSuite, HTML, Adobe, PCL5E, Postscript, and more than 200 other formats).

Cover page and sending time

Select a FAX cover page, and also the sending time, by adding two parameters  to the traditional syntax :

• Cover page choice : Mr test@0472399169-l:sale@fax

Delayed time : Mr test@0472399169-h:2200@fax

Sending acknowlegments

After each sending, an report E-mail is sent back to inform you of the result.

User's administration by GCS Domino Admin

Thanks to Notes Data bases, the GCS Domino Administration simplifies administration tasks such as users' profiles, routing tables and cover page management.

FAX incoming routing management

Routing criteria administration can be done by DID number, by line or by using OCR to identify the recipient.

Communication Server Administration

Communication server administration is done from any workstation, with the proper password.
